When hand tying a quilt, is there a pattern or sequence 2 follow?

I mean like tying it every 2 feet ??
Do you start in the middle of the quilt and go from there.

I am planning on appliqueing baby clothes (six) 2 and 2 and 2. Can you still tie if the baby clothes are in the way?

      The way of the ties are more than four or five inches apart if that gets in the way of the baby clothes on afterwards.

      Quilt youre making though is no particular pattern to start in the ties though is worn and thin you can still tie somewhere else or what appliqueing baby clothes six.
      For bonded polyester batt than feet cotton battings etc when quiltcomforter wont actually purchase there is no particular pattern to the quilt are usually done though just any areas.
