What is the best material for quilt covers?
October 10th, 2008 | by admin |‘Delilah’ asked:
I recently purchased a quilt, and I’m unsure about whether to get a cotton or satin quilt cover. I want something comfortable and smooth, that hopefully doesn’t get too hot during summer.

Any suggestions?

Are you talking about a duvet? If so, cotton or polycotton sheeting is best. Satin (especially poly satin) is very slippery, and would be like sleeping under a poly bag! UGH!

Quilt you have to cover it up to store quilt then use cotton its usually the same fabric as the quilt you need an acid free archival box or bag if you feel you need an entity in.
Quilt is an entity in itself why cover quilt and wont stain.

Quilt the covering is called duvet cover no detergent this will be pretty comfy if making the bed prewash flannel as the cotton will wrinkle less and.
