I have a cheap down quilt I bought from Target. Can I wash it in the washing machine?

I don’t have the care tag for the quilt, and I was hoping to put it in the washing machine to wash it. When I need to dry it, can it go in the dryer or do I need to air dry it?

      The gentlest cycle possible.

You’re probably safe… I’d wash it on a gentle cycle and then use air fluff or some other gentle dry cycle.
