How to print a quilt label on fabric using computer?

Laura R asked:

I want to print out a label on a quilt with words and photo, using my computer and inkjet printer. How do you print on fabric, and what do you do to set the ink so it won’t run or fade?

Hi there and i do have a suggestion for printing on fabric with your PC. If you goto your favorite fabric store or Joann fabrics they do have printer fabric for just such an item. But… you need to make sure that if you buy the fabric sheets you will want to make sure that it contains in the fabric that permanent sealer for when the ink dries after printing. If it does not have that chemical you will need to buy it seperately and it should be right next to the fabric printer sheets..I hope this helps out.
