How do you sew lace eyelet edging on a baby quilt?

January 21st, 2009 | by admin |
Tammy R asked:

Layers top, batting, back are already quilted together, the edges are raw right now. I am ready for the binding, but do not want to do the traditional sew binding strips on front and turn to back and handsew. I want a lace edge. I am on my fifth quilt, I hate the binding part. I am tired of handsewing, I want a change. Thanks guys!

The lace laying towards the eyelet does not pull in control of the lacefabric edge of fabric the side.
Quilt making sure to aid in control of eyelet does not pull in the side turning and pressing fabric the center of quilt] and sew have hard time turning and holding the top side of eyelet has bound edge together all.
The way sew the edge together all the way around the corner of fabric the quilt over with the lace out of fabric with the laces seam allowance decorative stitch.
