Hello, I love to quilt but hate those high fabric prices.I was wondering if someone knew how I would go about buying direct from the manufacture? I have a home business that sales quilt items and a business license .Any help would be appreciated.

I once looked into buying wholesale fabric from Michael Miller. They have a minium I think maybe it was like 5 bolts? Anyway first you have to have a tax id number to order wholesale.I just went to the Michael Miller web site and emailed them that I was looking to buy and they sent me the contact info. There are restrictions though, depending on what you want the fabric for.Like some of the liscensed character fabric can only be bought if you intend to resell it not make things from it.Good Luck!

Contact each manufacturer to see what their requirements are.
You may have to buy more than you need, thus requiring you to spend more that what it would cost buying tax exempt from local shops.

The prices are quite reasonable.
