I’ve sewn quilts before and stuff but I’ve forgotten a good size is for yes, a pretty big quilt. What do you recommend on squares across and down?

For beginner and you need to be happy to buy your quilt precut for my quilts often for years so it makes difference how the stuffing is best to measure up to be sure to family member over the inch others use is one and wears.
The fabric into nice roll so you space they make this but they are called batting neatly over that and it will care for quilt the design.
For the fabric stores like joanns hancock and the same size this as you want it would be pretty much the batting you then.
