I am trying to write a metaphoric concluding sentence the fact that reason and passion both need to be balanced out in life, but I also need to incorporate a quilt into the sentence. I am having a lot of difficulties can guys give me ideas? Thanks.

      A seamstress calmly sews each stitch with care and love, everything tied together as one, reason and passion, never one without the other.
